    President Barack Obama‘s re-election campaign has moved up a gear this week. After recently attacking former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney‘s 1990s stint at the head of Bain Capital, a private-equity firm, the president’s senior adviser is now focusing on the Republican presidential candidate’s record as governor of the Bay State between 2003 and 2007.

    Forty three Roman Catholic dioceses, schools and social services agencies are suing the Obama administration over the president’s healthcare overhaul, part of which will force the majority of employers to include birth control coverage in their employees’ health plans.

    The Ron Paul campaign announced on Monday afternoon that it would not be campaigning in any of the Republican primaries due to take place between Tuesday, May 15 and June 26.

    85 percent of Indian Americans support Obama

    A poll conducted by Lake Research Partners, a DC-based political consultancy firm, and APIAVote (Asian American Pacific Islander) shows that 85 percent of Indian-American voters would like President Barack Obama to serve a second term.
