Texas Congressman Ron Paul quizzed Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke for the last time on Wednesday, as the 76-year-old House representative prepares to leave Capitol Hill at the end of the year.
Ron Paul to hold own rally in Tampa, Fla.
Republican Texas Congressman Ron Paul will hold his own rally in Tampa, Fla., on the eve of the GOP National Convention. Dr. Paul’s campaign also confirmed that the 76-year-old House representative would not be attending the Paul Festival nor the Freedom Festival 2012, which are both due to take place just before the convention. Both events are currently being organized by his supporters.

The Ron Paul campaign announced on Monday afternoon that it would not be campaigning in any of the Republican primaries due to take place between Tuesday, May 15 and June 26.

The Arab American News endorses Ron Paul

The biggest Arab-American newspaper in the country, The Arab American News, has endorsed Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. Its publisher, Osama Siblani, made the announcement at a rally held at the University of Michigan on Wednesday.
Voters challenge Santorum’s status in Indiana

Four Indiana voters decided on Monday to challenge Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum‘s status for the state’s primary, which is due to be held on May 8. Although the former Pennsylvania senator filed over 4,500 signatures in total, he only provided 492 valid signatures from registered voters in the state’s 7th district.
